What exactly are full-arch Implants or the All-on-4 procedure?

“All on 4” and “Teeth in a Day” are terms used to describe a procedure that allows patients to receive replacement teeth in just one day. You may hear of other versions of this procedure such as “Teeth in an Hour,“ “Dental Implants in One Day,“ “Teeth In One Day,“ “Teeth In One Visit.” While they go by many names, all refer to a one-day implant treatment, which restores a full arch of replacement teeth.

Process for getting “All on 4” and “Teeth in a Day” Implants

1. Sedation

As with all Dental Implants, All-on-4 Dental Implants are placed during an outpatient surgical procedure in Dr. Ton's office. Most patients will want to take advantage of some sort of sedation for this procedure, in addition to the local anesthetic that will be used.

2. Placing 4 Implants

Four appliances are placed into the jawbone and gums and left to heal sufficiently before the implant bridge can be secured in place. Once implanted, the bridge will never need to be removed and will resemble the appearance of your natural teeth.

3. Prosthetic Arch Fit

Before leaving Dr. Tin's office, you are fitted with the prosthetic arch – a fixed complete denture. After the implants have fully integrated with the bone, you may return to receive a second, stronger denture.

Who is a good candidate for full-arch Implants?

Dental implants are widely regarded as the best treatment for loose dentures. Permanent dental implants are designed to make dentures much more secure and enable you to smile, eat and talk confidently. We can assist you if you have been thinking about investing in implants. The implants act as a foundation for replacement teeth. They won’t decay and are designed to last for the rest of your life. Implants can be used in conjunction with various dental procedures to improve oral health. Once they are installed, you’re much less likely to face problems with slippage and discomfort.
