We are one of the only dental practices in the Portland area that partners with a full-service, state-of-the-art dental lab on-site.

State-of-the-Art Dental Center

Advanced Technology

At Northwest Implant Center, we partner with a team of full-time technicians working in a state-of-the-art lab to digitally design, scan, and mill our patient’s dental restorations quickly while ensuring ideal aesthetics and long-term success.

With an on-site lab, you will save time and doctor visits. We can make adjustments to your restoration’s shades and fit while you are in the office. Additionally, because we don’t ship things out to another lab, you will be able to get your restoration quickly, with the results you want.

3D X-ray gives us a detailed view of your teeth, gums, nerve pathways, and bone.

Using the x-rays and powerful imaging software, our team is able to analyze the results to create the perfect place plan for your implant. We calculate the optimal structural positioning of the implant based on the existing bone and safest distance from the nerves. Other benefits include:

Lower radiation dose (less than a full mouth series of intraoral film)

A quick comprehensive scan of the complete oral-maxillofacial area (14 seconds)

Immediate virtual diagnosis and treatment planning in one visit

More certainty during surgery

Easy sharing of images and diagnostic information

Cone Beam 3D Imaging

Physicians have relied on computerized axial tomography scans (CAT) for years. Today, many dentists rely on 3D imaging scans to provide them with a detailed view of the mouth and skull. 3D scans are quick and simple to perform. A Cone Beam Imaging System is at the heart of the 3D scanner. The cone beams are used to take literally hundreds of pictures of the face. These pictures are used to compile an exact 3D image of the inner mechanisms of the face and jaw. The dentist is able to zoom in on specific areas and view them from alternate angles.
